Need to get the trees up this week and the other decorations out of storage Crossing fingers as I type this π Hope you are all faring well I’ve been thinking of you all. Off to get some web surfing done and my card designs down on paper.
keep warm,
Love to you all,
Shelly
Does everyone in America put their Christmas trees up so early? I know quite a few Brits do but they are in the minority. We don’t put our tree and decorations up until Christmas Eve although one year it did go up a little earlier as we had famly members coming to lunch.
Hope all is well with you and your family. We are all fine here but snowed in at the moment although the east side of the country has been hardest hit and we have heard that many parts of Europe have been hit hard by the cold and snow.
I am hoping to get some parcels sent out on Saturday if I can get out to the post office and one of the parcels is for you. I just hope the handmade box doesn’t get too squished in the mail π
Love

Hi Lynn,
I think most people here put their trees up mid to late November I know the retail stores had some up in October Crazy to me. I just always do it Thanksgiving night since that’s the way my Mom did it π Brian likes the trees and decorations for a short time and would be so glad to just do it Christmas eve. π We are all doing better with the sniffles but thats much better than the flu. We have had a dusting of snow and have 1-3 inches in the forcast for tomorrow night but that is nothing compared to yours. The cold air has set in with lows in the teens but still not what you are experiencing I’m sure. I have a couple things in the works too but need to get my rear moving if I’m gonna get them done. I will try to get some photos of the trees when we get them put up. Hopefully this weekend. I need to work while little Boys (Levi) who are starting to walk alot more arent here helping me so much π
Hope you are all doing well and thaw out soon.
Were you able to get the firewood you needed before the weather hit?
Much Love sent your way,
Shelly
I shall be very glad to see our bit of snow gone but the poor people on the east side of the country will be eve more so. There has been record breaking low temperatures in parts of the UK, down to minus 21C. It has been biterly cold here too, I think I am getting too old for this type of weather π
The wind has swung into the south west and the temperatures are supposed to be slowly rising, it has just started to rain here now which is going to be fun as it is falling onto frozen ground. Skaters paradise I think!
Yes we managed to get a goodly load of firewood in before the weather turned but we shall need to get more soon.
Our youngest grandson is now walking and as he is so tall for his age we have to keep moving things out of his reach π
Keep warm
Love and hugs
Lynn xx
